Sampaloc Cove is a secluded, hidden cove with a gorgeous beach located just outside Subic Bay on the southern tip of the Rendondo peninsula. It can only be reached by boat and the trip takes about an hour by our bangkas.
Sampaloc is a blend of a clean, white-grey beach, crystal clear, turquoise waters and a 20 minute hike up a trail brings you to Sampaloc Falls. It is an amazing way to spend the day swimming, diving, trekking, grilling out and even camping. Sampaloc is home to the indigenous Ayta people who maintain the beach and area to support the village. (Note: Fee’s to the Ayta village are paid by you on arrival directly to the village in PHP)
Mango’s Dive Center can offer a day trip to Sampaloc for groups that want to spend a day in true Philippine paradise. A typical trip would consist of up to 8 people on our small bangka (Lapu Lapu) or 20 people on our big bangka (Wahoo) We typically leave at 9am and we leave Sampaloc at 3pm, returning by 5pm. Included are 2 crew. You can self cater or we can arrange catering for you through Mango’s Resort’s Restaurant. Sampaloc also has a very active, clear shallow reef that is great for diving or snorkeling for those that want to get in a dive or go snorkeling.
